Function:
The impeller rotates inside a housing (1) with side channels
(2).
The gas is drawn in through the inlet slots (3), and
is circumferentially accelerated by the impeller (4)
in the
side channels and thereby pressurized, and finally discharged
through the discharge slots (5).
